This brass and glass table lamp channels the industrial elegance of Britain’s railways during the golden age of travel. Inspired by the glass insulators once strung above the tracks, it forms part of our Insulator Lighting Collection and celebrates early 20th-century engineering. The ribbed forms are both beautiful and functional, aiding the insulators in preventing the overhead wiring discharging, whilst giving a distinctly art-deco aesthetic.
We machine each lamp body from solid brass or steel, and press the glass, then hand-finish and assemble each lamp in our workshop in Northern England.
As with most of our work, we leave our metal finishes un-lacquered, allowing them to develop a rich, natural patina over time. You can learn more on our Finishes Page.
We can wire the lamp to order for 120v or 240v systems. It is mains dimmable, and may require a suitable driver if used with a lighting control system.,
The Insulator Table Lamp requires a GU10 bulb, which is not included. We suggest Signify or Tala. UL and IP rating options are coming soon, please contact us for more information.
