The waxed surface provides a limited barrier against tarnishing, though contact from hands, splashes of liquid, or cleaning products will accelerate localised ageing. This should not be considered a fault but a natural part of the graceful ageing process.

All of our specialised metal finishes are hand-applied by our craftsmen. As such, tonal variation is inevitable and intentional—an intrinsic part of what makes each piece unique and beautiful.
