As a living finish, our Polished Brass reacts quickly to touch. Fingerprints, handling, and contact with liquids will leave visible marks that soon begin to mellow into a rich patina. For the true brass enthusiast, this is part of the appeal: a surface that records every interaction, evolving beautifully with time and use.

The waxed surface offers only a limited barrier against tarnishing, so the finish will continue to change and enrich, developing character unique to each piece.

As with all of our finishes, every surface is hand-polished and treated by our craftsmen. Subtle variation is to be expected and celebrated, as it reflects the individuality and authenticity of our work.

Our standard Polished Brass retains hints of the maker’s hand. It is not over-finished and contains intentional character and imperfection.
