Our Broken Verdigris is perhaps our most striking surface. Beginning with our standard Verdigris, areas are artfully broken through to reveal the raw brass beneath. This process can be composed and controlled by our craftsmen, allowing for endless variation and the creation of surfaces that feel almost painterly in their expression. No two will ever be alike.

The contrast is what makes this finish so powerful. The stable calm of Verdigris, with its serene blues, greens, and greys, is set against the warmth of raw brass, alive and ever-changing. Over time the exposed brass will behave more akin to our Light Brass, mellowing and enriching with touch and use, creating a surface that tells its own story.

This meeting of permanence and transformation gives Broken Verdigris an energy unlike any of our other finishes. It is bold, dramatic, and deeply expressive, while remaining tactile and beautifully crafted by hand.
